Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting schools in the Fort Myers area as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). Multiple positions are available, with openings at various campuses that can be combined for both part-time and full-time schedules, up to 37.5 hours per week. Assignments are on-site only, engaging with a student caseload of 50-55 from diverse age groups across several school locations.

What youll bring:

  • Active Florida DOH SLPA license is required
  • Experience working in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Comfortable collaborating across multiple campuses
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage caseload efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for partnering with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
  • Ability to complete time-sensitive fingerprint background checks and JLA badge process per FL guidelines (prior fingerprinting may be transferable)

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services as directed by the supervising SLP
  • Support students in developing communication skills through group and individual sessions
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress
  • Collaborate on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Travel between assigned schools as needed to fulfill caseload requirements
