Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supporting students across multiple school sites in the vibrant community surrounding Bonita Springs, FL. This in-person, contract opportunity begins August 11, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, with both full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) and potential part-time openings available. Youll carry a caseload of 50-55 students, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams at elementary and middle school campuses to help children reach their communication goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold an active Florida DOH SLPA license (required).
  • Experience in a school-based setting is highly desired.
  • Comfortable adapting therapy strategies for diverse student populations, ranging in age from elementary to middle school.
  • Must complete Florida school fingerprinting requirements; facilitation provided for verifying/prior fingerprints or acquiring a JLA badge as needed.
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology support services under supervision of licensed SLPs to students in one or more school settings.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs.
  • Track student progress, maintain detailed records, and provide input for IEP meetings as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster a positive, supportive environment.
