Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent
- Valid SLPA state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
- Previous experience within school settings is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage caseloads with supervision
- Collaborative spirit to work alongside educators, therapists, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by supervising speech-language pathologists
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to address speech, language, and communication goals
- Gather data and document student progress under supervisor guidance
- Assist with therapy material preparation and session setup
- Keep records and contribute input during team meetings as needed
- Communicate professionally with staff, students, and parents
