Qualifications and Experience Needed:

• Current Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license valid in California
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches for various age groups and communication needs
• Professional, reliable, and ready to work onsite in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and record student progress
• Create engaging activities that foster language and speech skill development
• Maintain accurate documentation of all therapy sessions and student interactions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow support staff to optimize learning outcomes
