Providing support for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, this onsite School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position in Belton, TX offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to children's communication development within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to K-12 students
- Implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate caseload records
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support student success
- Participate in meetings and training as required by the school
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) certification
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) in a clinical or educational setting
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work full-time onsite with a 40-hour weekly schedule
