Job Description

Join a rewarding educational setting serving PreK through 5th-grade students as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the Baltimore area, Maryland. This contract position provides valuable hands-on experience working onsite at two elementary schools, supporting young learners' communication and speech development.

Work Locations & Schedule:

  • Magnolia Elementary: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (3 days/week)
  • Prospect Mill Elementary: Mondays and Wednesdays (2 days/week)
  • Total: 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract Duration: February 16, 2026 May 29, 2026, with the potential to extend into Extended School Year services in July

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech therapy services to students in PreK through 5th grade
  • Collaborate with educators and speech pathologists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct screening, assessment, and documentation as directed under supervision
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to enhance student communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
  • Compliance with House Bill 486 requirements including district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review
  • Ability to work onsite in the Baltimore area at assigned schools
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to support multidisciplinary collaboration
