An immediate full-time opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support students ages 6-21 in a specialized school setting. This contract position is based in Baltimore, MD, serving multiple schools with an itinerant schedule and paid travel. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering therapy services within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy support under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)
- Manage caseloads for students with individualized education programs (IEPs), focusing on communication goals
- Conduct therapy sessions tailored to diverse student needs, ages 6-21
- Document student progress and participate in team meetings
- Travel between assigned schools as required for service delivery
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA certification or eligibility to work as an SLPA within a school or healthcare setting
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school-based therapy
- Ability to work with a caseload for students with special needs, ages 6-21
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to provide therapy in an itinerant role with scheduled travel between sites

This role offers 40 hours per week with a contract through the end of the school year. The district supports a caseload model and provides therapy space along with supervision by licensed professionals. Administrative time and paid team meetings are included to facilitate comprehensive care and collaboration.
