Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure in the state of Georgia
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and families
- Ability to follow target goals and treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Organized, reliable, and able to handle multiple priorities with professionalism
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy activities as directed by supervising SLP
- Collect and document student progress data
- Prepare instructional materials and adapt activities to meet individual student needs
- Support classroom staff in reinforcing communication strategies throughout the school day
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Assist in the generalization of learned communication skills across settings
