Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid, current Minnesota SLPA license in hand (pending licensure not accepted)
  • Experience or strong interest in working within school settings, especially with elementary-aged children
  • Comfort with onsite, in-person support and active engagement in classroom activities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical service standards
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with supervising SLPs and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Support elementary students in small group and individual settings, focusing on speech, language, and communication development
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Prepare therapy materials and collaborate with teaching staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans as appropriate

This contract is scheduled from mid-February through early June 2026, following the academic calendar, Monday through Friday for a stable, full-time work week (37.5 hours), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
