Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to provide essential support services as a School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a dynamic educational environment in Anoka, MN. The role involves working onsite from February 17, 2026, through June 5, 2026, supporting elementary school students under the guidance of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans for elementary students.
  • Conduct screenings and help monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and parents to support student communication development.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation regarding student services.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid Minnesota SLPA license is mandatory and must be available before interview consideration.
  • Previous experience supporting speech-language pathology services in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to promoting positive student outcomes.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is located onsite in Anoka, Minnesota.
  • Full-time contract with 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Workday includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
  • Schedule aligns with the school calendar, focusing on elementary student caseloads.
