Make a meaningful difference in a collaborative school environment this summer supporting students communication skills as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract opportunity is conveniently located near Andover, MN, and offers a short-term assignment with a set scheduleperfect for those eager to enhance their experience in an elementary school setting.
The position is scheduled for the following dates and times:
- July 69 from 8:30am to 12:30pm (student hours: 9:00am12:00pm)
- July 1316 and July 2023 from 8:30am to 2:30pm (student hours: 9:00am2:00pm)
Candidates must have, or be eligible for, a Minnesota SLPA license and bring enthusiasm for working with school-aged children in an educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid or eligible Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license
- Experience working in school settings or with children preferred
- Knowledge of speech-language therapy procedures and best practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Role Highlights:
- Support the delivery of speech-language therapy services under the direction of a licensed SLP
- Work directly with students to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
