Job Description

Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants are invited to build valuable experience while collaborating alongside experienced professionals in a contract position devoted to student growth and communication.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active SLPA license valid in Arkansas
  • Prior experience in an educational or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate attitude toward students
  • Ability to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and support staff
  • Organized, reliable, and adaptable to changing needs throughout the school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to students as delegated by a supervising SLP
  • Assist in implementing therapy plans, interventions, and activities tailored to each students needs
  • Document student progress, session notes, and related data under supervision
  • Support SLPs with preparation of materials and activities
  • Communicate effectively with educators and parents as appropriate, maintaining a positive and supportive environment
  • Monitor and encourage student participation to foster growth in communication and social skills
  • Contribute to a team focused on student success and inclusive learning
