Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract position supporting PreK-12th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. Located near Agate, CO, this onsite role offers two openings and a full-time weekly schedule. You'll make a direct impact by helping students improve their communication skills in both individual and group settings.

What you'll bring:

  • Current SLPA licensure or eligibility in Colorado
  • Experience or passion for working with PreK-12 students
  • Familiarity with conducting speech/language assessments
  • Ability to participate in and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Skill in delivering both direct and indirect therapy services
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with supervising SLPs and school teams
  • Commitment to professional growth and student-centered support

Your key responsibilities:

  • Administer assessments to identify student needs and progress
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, supporting individualized planning
  • Deliver speech and language services per student IEPs, both 1:1 and in groups
  • Document therapy sessions and track progress accurately
  • Work closely with SLP supervisors for guidance and feedback
  • Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and staff
  • Support a diverse student population across grade levels
