Advance your career as a Speech Language Pathologist working with an engaging K-5th grade caseload in a supportive educational setting. This onsite contract role offers the opportunity to partner with a diverse group of elementary students, including those with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, and more. Using a push-in service delivery model, youll support communication goals within the classroom environment and collaborate closely with educational teams.
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement required
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized speech/language therapy plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 20 to 40 K-5th grade students
- Work collaboratively using a push-in model within general and special education classrooms
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Communicate regularly with staff and families to support student growth
