Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech Language Pathologist License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Arizona Educator Certification
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience in a school setting preferred, especially with PreK-8th grade caseloads
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students in grades PreK-8
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings, providing expert input and collaborating on student success plans
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Educate and consult with teachers and families to support carryover of strategies in daily routines
- Adapt therapy techniques and materials to address diverse learning needs
