Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school settings highly preferred
  • Background in delivering therapy to a range of age groups, from Pre-K to grade 12
  • Comfortable developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, support staff, and families
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Create and customize intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students across various age ranges and grade levels
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to support academic success and classroom integration
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of assessments, progress, and communications
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary support teams
  • Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
