Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs will be considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), assessment protocols, and successful intervention strategies
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teaching staff and families
- Deliver therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders in both individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and case notes in accordance with school policies and professional standards
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and support the team with progress updates and recommendations
- Serve as a resource for educators and parents regarding strategies to support speech and language development within the classroom
