This contract opportunity, located near Ypsilanti, MI, is for the current school year and could extend into the next school year, contingent on performance and district needs. Deliver quality support in a collaborative educational environment and help students reach their fullest communication potential.
What Were Looking For:
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with students at early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and meet deadlines
- Professionalism and dedication to student success
What Youll Do:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers
- Participate in the creation of intervention plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP and staff meetings
- Provide recommendations to support student learning and communication in the classroom
