Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language services to K-12 students at one site, working with a welcoming school community near Ypsilanti, MI. This onsite position is available for travel professionals with the proper Michigan credentials, offering a chance to make a meaningful difference for students with mild to moderate speech and language needs. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with a consistent weekly schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Michigan Professional License (LARA)
  • MDE Educator Certification required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience in school settings or with K-12 populations
  • Ability to manage a variety of mild to moderate speech/language cases
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfort working onsite full-time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse K-12 student caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for students of varying abilities
