Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a significant impact, working full-time (37.5 hours per week) with the flexibility to consider part-time candidates. The role begins August 31, 2026, and extends through June 4, 2027.
Youll enjoy working in a collaborative environment dedicated to helping students develop their communication abilities and thrive academically and socially. All services are provided onsite, fostering a direct connection with students, staff, and families.
What Youll Bring:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active Michigan SLP licensure
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, with a K-12 caseload
- Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Ability to create tailored therapy plans addressing diverse student needs
- SLP-CF applicants will not be considered at this time
- Must be available for onsite services; virtual work is not an option
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop goals for students with speech/language needs
- Deliver direct therapy to individuals and small groups
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
- Complete required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Track student outcomes and adjust intervention strategies as needed
