Qualifications:
- Current certification and active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Background in pediatrics and school-based therapy
- Experience working with students in Pre-K, Preschool, Kindergarten, and Elementary (K-5), as well as Middle (6-8) and High School (9-12) levels
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Compassion, flexibility, and a genuine drive to help students reach their full potential
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech-language services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each student
- Provide direct therapy services to students across a variety of ages and grade levels
- Collaborate with classroom staff, special education teams, and families for comprehensive support
- Maintain organized documentation of student progress and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reviews
