Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role as a School Speech-Language Pathologist, providing impactful services across multiple locations in the York, PA region. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. As an essential member of a diverse school team, youll conduct comprehensive assessments, deliver creative therapy sessions, and foster communication skills in students of all ages and abilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology certification required
  • Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate must be submitted with your application
  • Experience with K-12 populations in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite speech-language therapy services to students throughout the district
  • Complete assessments, write reports, develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Work closely with general and special education staff to support language, articulation, fluency, and social communication needs
  • Serve as a resource to educators and caregivers, sharing expertise and strategies
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal school regulations

Assignments run from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, for 35 hours per week, allowing you to immerse yourself in the school community and make a visible difference each day.
