Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to work within an elementary school setting serving grades K through 5 in Wyoming, MI. This full-time, in-person role offers a supportive environment to deliver speech and language services to young learners, fostering their communication development and academic success. Part-time applicants will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify and diagnose communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Participate in meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Experience working with children in grades K-5 preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a school environment with diverse student populations.
