Job Description

Make a meaningful impact helping elementary students thrive in their educational journey by providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive in-person setting. This contract opportunity extends through the remainder of the school year and is ideal for those passionate about working with young learners in grades K5. The position offers a full-time, 37.5-hour workweek, but consideration will be given to skilled part-time candidates eager to contribute.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in a school setting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Comfortable delivering both direct and consultative therapy services in person

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for K5 students
  • Design and deliver effective intervention plans tailored to students individual needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
  • Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based solutions
  • Educate peers and parents on strategies to encourage optimal speech and language development
