This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings, helping them achieve successful communication and academic outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience (clinical or professional) working with students in early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school environments is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students of varying ages and ability levels
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professional staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation required by the school and state guidelines
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student planning discussions
- Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current on best practices
