Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Michigan SLP license required
• Experience or comfort working with elementary (K-5) caseloads
• Familiarity with educational environments and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively both independently and with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions onsite for students in grades K5
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized goals
• Monitor and document student progress, updating plans and strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student development
• Maintain compliance with school policies, state guidelines, and ethical standards for practice
