This contract assignment is located near Worcester and allows you to choose from full or part-time hours based on your availability and preferences.
In this role, you'll work closely with students, educators, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that help learners achieve their communication goals. Your expertise will play a vital part in empowering students to grow academically and socially.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active MA Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Experience working with school-aged populations, preferably in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports per regulations
- Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings, both in-person and via teletherapy as appropriate
