A long-term substitute Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Worcester, MA, supporting PreK to 1st-grade students in a school setting. This contract role runs from February 23 to April 17, with a regular schedule of 8:35 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to young students, focusing on those using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to each students progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of AAC devices and their application in speech therapy.
