This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in school settings, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Woodway, TX. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days, providing a consistent and rewarding work routine.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas certification in Speech-Language Pathology (TX in RI)
- Credentials such as CCC-SLP preferred
- Experience working in school environments with K-12 populations
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to work alongside educators, parents, and other professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students communication needs
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress in compliance with educational standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student learning and communication goals
- Participate in meetings such as IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning and reviews
