Step into a highly rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. This position, located near Woodstock, IL, offers a chance to work directly with students in grades PreK through 4, making a significant impact on their communication growth and educational experience.

As the school-based SLP, you will manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and play an active part in the MTSS/problem-solving process. Your expertise will be critical in conducting new evaluations for early childhood (EC) and K-4 students, as well as supporting ongoing speech-language interventions.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license required.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) specific to SLP, as mandated by local regulations.
• Background in school-based SLP practice, particularly with PreK4 populations, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with conducting evaluations and contributing to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, write reports, and participate in eligibility meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and intervention teams within the schools MTSS process.
• Maintain compliance with state, district, and documentation standards.
• Communicate progress effectively to families and educational teams.
