Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- State licensure or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
- Experience in pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and student goal-setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnosis of speech, voice, fluency, and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student support
- Offer direct and consultative speech-language services to students, adapting methods to suit diverse needs
- Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance communication and learning outcomes
