Step into a rewarding and impactful contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting young learners in a vibrant school environment near Woodland, California. This onsite opportunity runs from August 2026 through early June 2027, offering the chance to make a direct difference in the lives of PreK and Kindergarten students. With a manageable caseload of approximately 25-35 students, youll play a key role in helping children develop essential communication skills at a critical time in their educational journey.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license; candidates outside of California willing to obtain a CA license are welcome to apply
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and implementation for early childhood age groups
- Strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate with colleagues, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and deliver speech and language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
- Communicate progress, challenges, and successes with parents and caregivers
- Adapt techniques to meet each childs unique needs and learning styles
