Job Description
A temporary opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a school setting in Woodland, CA. This position involves working directly onsite with preschool and kindergarten students, managing a caseload of approximately 25-35 young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement effective intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license; candidates licensed out of state will be considered if willing to apply for California licensure
- Proven experience providing speech-language services in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of childhood speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with students, parents, and school personnel
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain detailed records
Location: Woodland, CA Onsite position only
