Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Virginia SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Proven experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to develop and modify Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Comfortable working with diverse student needs and backgrounds

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
  • Document outcomes and maintain accurate records, adhering to state and district guidelines
