Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, though CFY applicants may be considered
- Previous experience supporting children or young adults in school environments
- Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring processes
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, adjusting strategies to support each students unique needs
- Track progress and maintain timely, organized documentation consistent with school and legal standards
- Contribute to IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with staff and families
- Provide guidance to educators and caregivers to reinforce language interventions in the classroom and at home
