A full- or part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC, serving an elementary school setting. This onsite role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students speech and language development in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
- Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
- Providing support and resources to enhance student communication skills within the classroom setting
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
- Experience working with elementary school populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while engaging collaboratively with school staff and families
