Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students communication and academic success! We're seeking passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to serve PreK-12 students in a collaborative educational environment. Positions begin August 12, 2026, and run through June 11, 2027, with full-time hours (35-37.5 per week). Most openings are in the east and southern portions of the district, and flexibility on caseload assignment allows you to match your expertise and interests for optimal impact.
What you'll bring:
- Active North Carolina SLP license
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcomed; district supervision available for CFs
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with students with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities
- Ability to manage caseloads of up to 35 students
- Collaborative, flexible approach to working with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Your role will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
- Participating in team meetings and professional development activities
