Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant position is available to support K-5th grade students with diverse speech and language needs. This role is ideal for a licensed professional passionate about making a positive impact on children's communication skills within a school setting.

Position Type: Contract, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to K-5th grade students under the direction of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to address articulation, language, voice, fluency, and social communication goals
  • Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes in compliance with school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive educational environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid CT Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech-language development and therapy techniques
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
