Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Maine
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric and preschool populations
- Previous experience in a school-based role preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and goals
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs in preschool settings
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective interventions
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adjust strategies as needed
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and professional growth opportunities
- Support students in generalizing communication skills to classroom and community settings
