Professional Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are sought for a summer 2026 onsite opportunity in Wilmington, DE, supporting school-age and young adult students. This travel position offers multiple openings for licensed SLPs to provide essential speech and language services serving diverse student populations in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations and therapy to elementary, secondary, early childhood, and post-secondary students aged 3-22
- Collaborate with education teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district policies
- Participate in ESY (Extended School Year) programs and general summer caseload services
- Work Monday through Thursday on-site, with specific schedules based on student age and site location
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Delaware SLP license required
- CCC-SLP certification preferred; open to Candidates-in-Training (CFs), but paraprofessionals (SLPAs) not eligible
- Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology services strongly preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads independently and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Willingness to undergo background fingerprinting ($85 fee applies)
