Key qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (or equivalent for SLPs; associates or bachelors for SLPAs)
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology or license eligible in Delaware
- Previous school-based experience or clinical fellowship year (CFY) welcome
- Teletherapy skills and comfort with digital platforms a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services in a school environment, helping students reach communication milestones
- Assess and identify students in need of speech-language support, develop individualized therapeutic plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff for effective service delivery
- Complete documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team activities when needed
