Job Description

Make a genuine impact this summer by providing essential speech-language services in a supportive school environment near Wilmington, DE. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, youll work full-time (37.5 hours per week) throughout the summer school session, helping students enhance their communication and language abilities during an important time in their academic journey.

Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Prior experience in school settings is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of students within the school setting
  • Conduct assessments and create tailored intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each students needs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute positively to the broader educational team
