Make a genuine impact this summer by providing essential speech-language services in a supportive school environment near Wilmington, DE. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, youll work full-time (37.5 hours per week) throughout the summer school session, helping students enhance their communication and language abilities during an important time in their academic journey.
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience in school settings is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of students within the school setting
- Conduct assessments and create tailored intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each students needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute positively to the broader educational team
