Desired Expertise & Qualifications:

• Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Illinois
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Previous experience working with pediatric clients, preferably in school-based settings
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school environments
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students from diverse backgrounds
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to multi-disciplinary evaluation teams
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress toward established goals
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required compliance documentation
• Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and professional development initiatives
• Provide guidance and education to staff and families on speech-language needs and resources
