Job Description

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Conduct assessments, write reports, and help develop/implement IEPs in partnership with educational staff and families
  • Monitor progress, adjust service plans as needed, and document outcomes in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding speech and language development
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
