Qualifications & Experience:
- Active MD Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Completion of SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in SLP preferred
- Previous pediatric experience, especially in schools, highly valued
- Background in healthcare or teletherapy environments a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine student speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and evidence-based interventions
- Deliver both in-person and teletherapy services to students, tailoring approaches to unique learning requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain thorough progress notes and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide support and resources to families and staff as needed
