Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide support for maternity leave coverage and itinerant student services in a K-12 school setting. This contract position starts mid-October and ends August 7, 2026, with one opening available. Part-time applicants will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12
  • Work onsite with students across multiple locations within Lackawanna County and Dunmore, PA areas
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active PA SLP licensure required
  • Previous school-based experience is a must
  • Ability to obtain or complete necessary Pennsylvania clearances
  • Reliable transportation is essential for travel between service locations

Hours and Schedule:

  • Full-time: 35 hours per week
  • Part-time applicants will be considered
  • Onsite work required; remote options not available
  • Interview to be conducted via Zoom
