Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services in a school setting near Whitehall, PA, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position offers an opportunity to support childrens communication development throughout the school year, with a schedule of 35 hours per week. The assignment starts as soon as possible and is expected to continue through the 2026-27 school year, with some opportunities for early intervention work year round.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in the student population. The SLP will collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs. Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports is essential to track student growth and comply with school policies.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 caseloads
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
