A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve middle and high school students, specifically grades 6 through 12, in a school setting located in Wexford, PA. This contract position invites both experienced SLPs and clinical fellows who are licensed in Pennsylvania to apply. Previous experience working in PA schools is advantageous but not required.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, providing direct therapy services to students, and actively participating in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. The role demands collaboration with educators and support staff to create and implement effective communication strategies for students with diverse speech and language needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current PA licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Clinical fellows licensed in Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with students in grades 6-8 and 9-12 is preferred
- Previous school-based experience in Pennsylvania is a plus
- Ability to conduct assessments and provide direct therapy
- Knowledge of and participation in the IEP process
