Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license or eligibility for licensure as required by the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY applicants considered
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to various caseloads and ability levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in alignment with students IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate student success
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, adjusting as needed throughout the year
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in professional development
- Offer guidance and support to classroom staff, fostering an inclusive learning environment
