Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving K-12 students across multiple school locations in Westover, MD. This travel position involves working onsite to provide essential speech and language services to support student communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to students with diverse communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
  • Maryland teaching certification with SLP endorsement.
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing onsite services during regular school hours.

Position Details:

  • Location: Multiple school sites based in Westover, MD.
  • Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Employment Term: August 2026 through June 2027.
  • Onsite work required; no remote options currently available.
