Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract role will have you working across multiple locations with K-12 options, offering variety and diverse experiences within the school setting. The position is set to begin in August 2026 and continues through June 2027, following a standard 37.5-hour workweek. The need is for dedicated, onsite professionals committed to empowering young learners through effective speech and language intervention.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in Maryland (MD SLP License)
  • Maryland Teaching Certificate (MD Teaching Cert)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work at multiple school sites within the assigned area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in K-12
  • Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of educational plans
  • Offer screenings and participate in multidisciplinary team evaluations when needed
