Desired Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Open to both experienced school-based clinicians and those with a strong desire to work in educational settings
- Previous work with pediatrics, teletherapy, or completing a CFY year is valued
- Genuine commitment to serving school-aged children and fostering communication skills
- Collaborative approach to working within multi-disciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional speech and language services to students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver both direct and consultative services, adapting methodologies for in-person and virtual (teletherapy) support as necessary
- Partner with families, teachers, and other school professionals to advance student success and engagement
This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week over five days, working directly within the school. Candidates with a palpable passion for supporting students are strongly encouraged to apply.
